KYOCERA AVX Components (Munich) GmbH is seeking a Global IT Backup Specialist (m/f/d) in Hallbergmoos.
In the capacity of Global IT Backup Specialist (m/f/d), you will join the Global IT Operations Team and report directly to the Western Europe IT Operations Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to design, maintain, and enhance the Global IT backup framework.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosing and resolving IT backup-related server and data center hardware and software issues, ensuring follow-up until resolution
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance on backup systems
- Installing, configuring, and updating on-premises IT backup infrastructure hardware and software
- Monitoring the availability of IT backup systems via existing portals and managing issue resolution and escalation
- Overseeing the performance of IT backup infrastructure
- Standardizing and automating job processes
- Reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly backup reports for analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience as an IT Backup Specialist (m/f/d)
- Extensive experience with Veeam
- Familiarity with ITIL Service Management and process execution
- Certification in VMware and Microsoft Server
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Comprehensive knowledge of all versions of Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, server hardware, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of MS SQL
- In-depth knowledge of HPE servers and various enterprise-level storage solutions
- Significant experience with VMware Fault Tolerance and storage synchronization
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
