Payroll Specialist

Job Summary:
Pandora is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of payroll operations across several European countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure monthly payments and administrative operations of Human Resources, according to legal requirements for various European countries (Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark)
- Process and verify all payroll transactions for salaried and shift employees
- Day-to-day administration of the payroll software
- Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions via all communication methods
- Maintain a current knowledge of legislation relating to employee pay
- Work in collaboration with the Human Resources and Finance teams to ensure queries are dealt with appropriately
- Create regular payroll reports and ad-hoc special reports with Excel
- Conduct year-end closing activities
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge and experience with payroll, preferably in an international environment
- Good communication skills in German and English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
- All administration processes that are associated with payroll
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence and experience in dealing with people and explaining complex issues in a compassionate, logical, and simple manner
- Strong organizational skills while being able to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines
