Senior Application Engineer – Technical Marketing

Position Overview
In the role of Application Engineer within our Technical Marketing division, you will engage in a worldwide setting, delivering support and detailed technical insights to our clientele. The emphasis will be on cutting-edge technologies related to OTA, security, on-chip flash memory, and the corresponding software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Offer specialized technical knowledge and assistance to clients, internal teams, and business partners. Conduct product training sessions and workshops. Facilitate the market launch of Renesas MCU products in collaboration with significant clients. Cultivate a comprehensive technical grasp of our offerings and pertinent solutions concerning security, OTA, and on-chip flash. Assist in technical Requests for Quotation (RfQ) alongside key clients and internal teams, emphasizing critical product requirements. Deliver demonstrations and create application notes. Travel to meet clients, business partners, and internal teams as necessary. Qualifications:
Degree in Electronic Engineering. At least 3 years of experience in microcontrollers and associated ecosystems. Preferably experienced in: MCU architecture, embedded software development and/or debugging, security standards, OTA, and/or on-chip flash technology. Strong ability to comprehend technical requirements and client expectations. Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and capability to thrive in a multicultural environment. Valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country is essential. Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and preferably German.
