Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Agile Robots SE. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software control systems, particularly in the context of industrial automation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Software Development: You will develop and implement control logic for automated processes using SPS programming languages (e.g., laddered logic or structured text). You will also configure HMIs to create a user-friendly interface for operators and maintenance personnel.
- Problem-Solving: You will diagnose and resolve problems related to automation systems, including hardware and software components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to quickly identify and fix system errors.
- System Maintenance: You will perform regular maintenance and updates of automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Installation and Testing: You will support the installation and testing of electrical systems during commissioning and startup. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose faults, and implement corrective measures.
- Continuous Improvement: You will stay up-to-date with advancements in automation technology and provide input on implementing design improvements based on industry trends and best practices.
- Experience: You have several years of experience with SPS programming languages and HMI programming.
- Skills: You have experience with hardware and KI software solutions for automation. You are familiar with 3D vision systems.
- Education: You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Travel: You are willing to travel up to 75% of the time within southern Germany.
- Language: You have excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Personal Qualities: You are self-motivated, thorough, and team-oriented. You have a hands-on mentality and take initiative.
