Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician (m/w/d) Microbiology Food to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing microbiological tests on food and beverages
• Preparing and evaluating agar plates and cultures
• Using Real-Time PCR to detect Salmonella and other bacteria
• Conducting biochemical and molecular biological identification using Gram/VITEK/MicroSeq and Maldi-TOF

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A completed education as a Biologielaborant*in, Biologisch-technische Assistenz, or equivalent laboratory training
• Experience in the described tasks is an advantage
• A high level of quality awareness when handling, storing, and transporting samples and reagents
• Excellent German language skills (at least B2 level) and good English language skills
