PLC Software Developer for Packaging Machines

GULP – experts united is seeking a skilled PLC Software Developer to join our team. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute your expertise to the development of innovative packaging machine software within a dynamic and growing company.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our cutting-edge packaging machines. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from programming PLC systems to integrating track & trace systems and ensuring seamless machine operation.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software applications for automated packaging machinery.
- Focus on implementing interfaces and advanced track & trace functionalities.
- Collaborate with engineers to clarify technical specifications and translate them into functional software solutions.
- Integrate track & trace systems into existing machine architectures.
- Commission and test new machines, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Provide technical support to the sales department, addressing customer inquiries and resolving technical issues.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Document software development processes and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, with proficiency in Codesys preferred.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a team environment.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
- Proficiency in English is essential for communication with international colleagues.
