Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) - Accounts Receivables
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Hamburg. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for performing monthly closing activities for the AR subledger, supporting the general daily collection process, and participating in projects related to working capital optimization.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly closing activities for the AR subledger, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Support the general daily collection process, working closely with the network and customers to resolve any issues.
- Support the activities related to public social customers with a third-party partner.
- Support the activities related to disputes resolution.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in projects related to working capital optimization, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a commercial training and have gained first work experience in accounting, ideally in the field of Accounts Receivables.
- You have user knowledge of common accounting software, with Oracle being a plus.
- You confidently use MS-Office, particularly Excel.
- IFRS/IAS knowledge is an advantage.
- You speak German fluently (both written and spoken) and have a good command of English.
