Project Manager for Battery Storage Service Offerings

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for executing multi-year service projects, including LTSA (long term service agreements) for stationary battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute service BESS products, collaborating with customers, initial build/EPC teams, and regional service teams.
  • Plan and execute service storage client projects, ensuring cost, time, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers, including change requests, contract, and claim management.
  • Support growth opportunities and sales pipeline with existing and new customers, in conjunction with the sales manager and local sales teams.
  • Define, design, implement, and continuously improve the PM framework for executing service storage projects (BESS) globally.
  • Manage customer expectations and requirements regarding functionality and overall quality of the provided solution.
  • Act as a mentor to junior and less experienced colleagues, leading lessons learned and supporting activities for continuous improvement in product and process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, with 5+ years of professional experience in client-facing project management and project execution in the energy sector.
  • Industry-relevant project management (PMP) certification, with excellent stakeholder management skills and basic understanding of stationary battery storage systems, technologies, and components.
  • Understanding of service offerings, including LTSAs, performance & availability guarantees, RAM, and field service.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English (German would be a plus).
  • Solution-oriented and customer-centric, with a mindset to win.
  • Motivated and able to self-organize and prioritize complex tasks in an intercultural and global environment.
