Job Opportunity: Personal Management and Event Organization

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Personal Management and Event Organization Specialist at the Center for Digital Transformation, TUM Campus Heilbronn.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Center Administration team, you will be responsible for the successful development of our established interdisciplinary and internationally operating Center for Digital Transformation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Steering and further development of the entire recruiting process, including the creation and publication of job postings, onboarding of new employees, and coordination with the central personnel department of the Technical University of Munich.
  • Administrative support for employees (decentralized personnel administration).
  • Planning and implementation of events for employees and guests.
  • Administrative support for professors at the Center, including organization of regular meetings (agenda creation, room booking, dispatch of agendas) and protocol management in English.

Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or completed training as a clerk for business management or equivalent qualification.
  • Ideal experience in personnel management and/or event organization.
  • Independent and meticulous work style with high reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a target group-specific manner in an international environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge of common office applications.

Employment:

The employment will be in the position of an employee dependent on qualification with a remuneration according to the collective agreement of the federal states (up to TV-L E9). During the duration of your employment, you will be additionally insured with the Pension Fund of the Federal States (VBL). The position is suitable for the occupation with severely disabled persons. Severely disabled applicants (m/f/d) will be preferred in the event of equal suitability, ability, and professional performance. The TUM aims to increase the proportion of women in its workforce.
