The Production Planning Controlling team at Mercedes-Benz Cars is dedicated to overseeing, strategizing, and evaluating the operational metrics of production planning.
By fostering transparency and offering actionable insights, this department plays a crucial role in cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support divisional controllers in their planning and oversight tasks
- Prepare business assessments and management-oriented information
- Assist in projects aimed at enhancing divisional controlling
- Collaborate on the advancement and refinement of processes, methodologies, and systems in divisional controlling
- Facilitate regular team communications
- Establish and organize databases
- Visualize data through dashboards
- Engage in top management meetings and (international) workshops and training sessions
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in economics, controlling, business administration, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field with a quantitative focus
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong commitment and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous
- Initial experience in database and dashboard development is a plus
- Ability to present complex information clearly is desirable
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
