Job Title: Flight Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Engineer to lead the planning and execution of flight test campaigns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing development and certification flight test evidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage flight test campaigns, including resource allocation and approval of flight test definitions and orders.
  • Adhere to the flight test organization in the flight test engineering role.
  • Provide development and certification flight test evidence in the context of MOC5/MOC6/MOC8.
  • Support the flight test subject matter expert in assigned disciplines or areas of expertise.
  • Classify flight test requests for complexity and prepare flight test definitions for flight test campaigns.
  • Act as a delegate of the head of flight test for flight test order approvals and as a test conductor during test execution.
  • Generate, review, and approve flight test reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a flight test engineer involved in aircraft development and certification processes.
  • Professional experience in flight test data post-processing and analysis.
  • Business fluent in English language, with other languages a plus.
  • Able and willing to deploy to local or international flight test locations for short to medium-term flight test campaigns.

Desired Qualifications:

  • FTE Certificate from an EASA-accredited flight test school.
  • Experience in rotary wing flight testing or multi-rotor UAVs.
  • Experience as a test conductor or test director in flight test aircrew capacity onboard or from a telemetry control station.
