Chief Information Security Officer

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Information Security Officer to lead our organization's information security strategy and initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program to protect our digital assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an information security strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Manage and mitigate information security risks across the organization, including conducting regular security risk assessments and audits.
- Lead the incident response team to quickly and effectively respond to security breaches and incidents.
- Develop and deliver information security awareness training programs for global employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Mentor a matrix team of cross-functional IT professionals to ensure their success.
- Oversee and coordinate with third-party information security services, including CSOC and VCISO, to ensure alignment with the organization's information security strategy and goals.
- Ensure compliance with relevant information security regulations and standards, including ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure their security practices meet company standards.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage security technologies and tools to protect the organization's digital assets.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to information security.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Formal degree in a related subject matter and relevant certifications.
- Deep understanding of information security frameworks, technologies, and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a security culture in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience in managing third-party information security services and regulatory knowledge.
