Risk Management and Reporting Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Monitoring and Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management department, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sustainable risk management strategy to ensure the bank's risk-bearing capacity
  • Identify and interpret risk plan deviations and derive corrective measures (risk costs, risk-bearing capacity, risk limit system)
  • Analyze and interpret actual and target analyses for risk assessment and control (stress tests, ratings, risk inventories)
  • Develop new requirements and control the development of early warning systems and key performance indicators (risk dashboard, trader mediation business, time series analysis, and structural data analysis)
  • Procure, structure, and consolidate data from various internal and external sources. Actively expand and develop relevant risk data portfolios with demand assessment, requirements management, and implementation support, including testing and acceptance.
  • Prepare result reports on the current risk situation and derive decision-making bases for internal and external stakeholders (top management, auditors)
  • Organize and moderate established risk information formats within the bank (risk cost meeting, risk committee, dealer risk committee)
  • Point of contact for all kinds of risk policy questions (risk costs, key performance indicators, and early warning systems, risk-bearing capacity) for the strategic corporate planning, top management, the head office, and external stakeholders (BaFin, auditors)

Requirements:

  • You hold a completed degree in business administration, banking, or insurance-related studies or a comparable qualification
  • You bring relevant professional experience in the field of risk-bearing capacity, planning, and budget processes, as well as reporting (tools, data preparation, reporting, standardization)
  • You act as a subject matter expert in data acquisition and analysis, in deriving action recommendations/ conclusions, and in zielgruppenspezifischen preparations
  • You take responsibility for the overall planning process and have experience in coordinating team members and combining work results
  • You have the ability to optimize existing processes and make operational-technical decisions that affect the work of your own groups
  • You are known for your well-developed social competence and communication skills within the department and with contact partners in functional areas
  • Very good German and English skills round off your profile
