FCAS Systems Engineer for Flight Control System Design Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FCAS Systems Engineer to join our team at CT Engineering Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing requirements throughout the entire flight control system development cycle using the V-Model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Engineering: Develop and manage requirements for flight control systems, ensuring seamless integration with other aircraft systems.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze and define requirements across all design levels, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
  • Concept Development: Support and develop concepts and feasibility studies for flight control systems.
  • System Function Specification: Define and develop general system functions for flight control systems.
  • Integration: Ensure seamless integration of autoflight and primary control law design requirements with general FCS functions.
  • Interface Coordination: Define and coordinate interfaces with other aircraft systems, including writing Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Assessments: Perform and coordinate system design assessments for clearances.
  • Software Testing: Define and monitor software acceptance test (SAT) objectives, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Requirements
  • University degree in Aviation & Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in system requirements engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in system design and development of safety-critical aircraft systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with flight control systems and model-based system engineering principles is a plus.
  • Experience with DOORS and/or CAMEO is a plus.
  • English language proficiency is required, with a minimum of business fluent.
  • German language proficiency is a plus.
  • Proactive and self-reliant work attitude, with strong teamwork skills.
