About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer to join our team at krisenchat gGmbH. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our strategic vision and implementing operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Translate our organization's vision and strategic roadmap into actionable plans and initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and alignment across departments.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement best practices in workflow management, process optimization, and scalability to enhance service efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Team Management: Oversee the daily operations of various departments, including the chat service and Marketing/Content, ensuring effective collaboration and communication between teams.
  • Performance Metrics: Co-develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency, providing regular reports to the executive team on current performance and areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including team members, funders, and partners, to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, particularly those related to data protection and mental health services.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in comparable executive management roles in quickly-scaling environments, preferably in startups or scaleups.
  • Strategic Vision: Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans, driving growth, and fostering a collaborative and mindful work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including team members, funders, and partners.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English, with a strong command of both languages (C1 to C2 level).
  • Personal Qualities: Empathetic leadership style, with a strong connection to topics of inner development and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
