Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Primary School Teacher to join our team at SIS Swiss International School in Frankfurt (Oberursel). As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and conducting lessons, preparing and delivering lessons in English, and mentoring and guiding students to ensure their personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
- Prepare and deliver lessons in English, using a range of teaching methods and materials
- Mentor and guide students to ensure their personal development, including providing formative and summative feedback
- Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Hold an appropriate pedagogical qualification, such as a fully qualified teacher, PGCE/QTS/2nd Staatsexamen or equivalent
- Have gained practical teaching experience in a bilingual or multilingual setting
- Be a native speaker of one school language (German/English) and have a good knowledge of the other language
- Be willing to develop professionally and take on new challenges
- Enjoy supporting children in their development as a whole personality
- Be enthusiastic, inspiring, and creative in the classroom
