Automotive Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Purchaser Automotive to join our team at time2 business consulting GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic and operational procurement processes within our automotive projects.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Procurement: Manage procurement processes for vehicle components, both in series and new product projects.
- Negotiation and Contracting: Lead procurement negotiations and actively manage contract awards.
- Process Optimization: Contribute to the development of procurement methods and processes, as well as plan and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Supplier Management: Select and develop the supplier portfolio, aligning with business needs and identifying optimal order quantities.
- Project Management: Ensure effective project control and achievement of project goals.
Essential Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: Several years of purchasing experience, preferably as a project purchaser in automotive-relevant areas such as body, E/E, or interior/exterior.
- Technical Understanding: Strong technical understanding and analytical thinking.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Professional Qualification: Successfully completed studies in technical business administration, economics engineering, or comparable qualification.
- IT Skills: Good SAP and MS Office skills.
- Soft Skills: Teamwork and excellent intercultural communication skills.
