Your Responsibilities
- You will engage in pioneering research in process mining within one of the leading data science groups.
- You will collaborate on research initiatives with industry partners who provide data and feedback on your findings.
- You will mentor Bachelor and Master students working on related subjects and participate in teaching activities to a limited extent.
- You will present your research at national and international conferences and work towards completing a PhD thesis within a four-year timeframe.
Within the Process and Data Science (PADS) group, there are four specialized subgroups focusing on (1) the foundations of process mining, (2) handling large, distributed, streaming, or uncertain event data, (3) automated operational process enhancement, and (4) responsible process mining, which addresses issues of fairness, accuracy, confidentiality, and transparency. You will receive guidance towards a PhD in one of these dynamic areas based on your background and interests.
Our Offer
- The position is temporary for four years, starting with an initial one-year contract that may be extended for an additional three years.
- This is a full-time role.
- There is an opportunity to pursue a doctorate.
- The position is classified under EG 13 TV-L.
