Job OverviewSenior Geologist / Subsurface Engineer (m/f/d):
AtkinsRéalis is a global leader in project management, engineering, and consulting services, specializing in hydrocarbon and renewable energy storage solutions.
We are seeking skilled professionals to assist in the technical and strategic execution of cavern storage initiatives. The role will be based within our German division, primarily focusing on innovative projects.

Educational Background -
- Master's degree (M.Sc) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in the cavern industry, solution mining, and related fields.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting geological and geophysical data.
- Experience in project execution and management.
- Knowledge of the regional geology of Europe and expertise in the structural interpretation of salt formations, particularly in the North German Zechstein Basin.
- Familiarity with quality assurance and safety regulations, including the Federal Mining Act and Water Resources Act.
- Interest in various energy technologies (e.g., hydrogen, compressed air, carbon capture) and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Strong communication skills, a structured approach to work, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Basic knowledge of the cavern industry and related disciplines.
- Foundational understanding of the regional geology of Europe and experience in the structural interpretation of salt formations.
For this position, a security clearance may be required. Employment offers are contingent upon obtaining the necessary security level, which will be discussed during the interview process.
