EHS Manager

About the Role

The Interiors Division of Raytheon Technologies is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team. As a key member of our EHS team, you will be responsible for formulating and administering EHS plans, procedures, and providing EHS Program Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and company requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
• Collaborate with operations and site leadership to integrate EHS performance into site business activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners to ensure EHS concerns are addressed.
• Perform tasks associated with Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance, including analysis of leading and lagging performance indicators.
• Support the investigation, root cause determination, and development of corrective actions for incidents.
• Use EHS Smart reporting system to maintain EHS information.
• Support the completion of audits and inspections and present findings to the site EHS Management Committee.
• Coordinate with business partners for EHS concerns regarding facilities and employee practices.
• Perform various tasks associated with Safety, Health, Environment, Compliance, and Management Systems.
• Collaborate with site leadership to ensure the maintenance of the RTX EHS Management System.
• Facilitate the development and completion of activities of various EHS subcommittees.
• Support the development of a positive EHS culture.
• Participate in site and business meetings to discuss EHS performance and improvement plans.
• May develop materials, implement, and deliver various EHS trainings as required by policy or regulation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years' prior relevant experience, OR
• Advanced degree and 5 years' prior relevant experience
• SIFA Qualification
• Proficient in speaking English

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing work setting
• Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Influencing and negotiating skills
• Lean/6 Sigma experience
