Battery Management System Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Component Manager for BMS to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our development department, you will be responsible for the development and supervision of battery management system components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Component Development: Develop battery management system components in accordance with given specifications and ensure their quality and reliability.
  • Component Supervision: Supervise the components up to the start of series production and track their status with regard to target values, schedule, FMEA, and component provision.
  • Communication and Representation: Communicate project progress and results to stakeholders and represent the project internally and to customers.
  • Collaboration and Management: Collaborate closely with the development department and customers to ensure successful project execution and manage system suppliers to meet given specifications.
  • Decision Support and Presentation: Create decision templates and present project results internally and to customers.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Degree or corresponding vocational training in mechanical engineering or similar with a focus on electric motors and electric drives, and at least 3 years of practical experience in the automotive industry.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in battery management systems (BMS) and knowledge of CATIA V5.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, German is a plus.
