In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing process optimizations to increase capacity and efficiency of equipment, as well as handling service orders internally and at international sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze process committees, machine downtime, and product defects, including the derivation of concrete optimization measures regarding the causes
  • Prepare detailed test planning and test execution
  • Conduct tests to reduce cycle times, improve functionality, and optimize processes and quality
  • Develop test plans and reports in the context of process optimizations, as well as feasibility studies or changes, including the creation of technical documentation
  • Active support of sites in process optimizations of equipment
  • Closely collaborate with analysis and solution departments for service projects
  • Training and production accompaniments for our production sites
  • Creation of work and assembly reports
RequirementsCompleted technical university degree (e.g., in mechanical engineering, materials science, medical technology) and at least 5 years of experience in a comparable fieldComprehensive knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes and automation technologyKnowledge of glass forming processes and composite techniques (e.g., bonding or welding) is an advantageExcellent knowledge of statistical test planning and interpretation of test resultsIndependent and quality-conscious working style, as well as high team and communication skillsSafe handling of common IT systems (MS Office, statistics software, e.g., Minitab)High travel readiness in the context of service assignments at our German and international sitesExcellent German and good English skillsAdditional Information
