We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Software Developer to enhance the Jedox platform. In this position, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining platform functionalities and their integration within the Jedox cloud infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining components (services, frontend, middleware) for the Jedox platform for the respective team.
- Contributing to a global design system, including the implementation of components.
- Acting as a key stakeholder throughout the entire software development lifecycle: refinement, design, prototyping, implementation, testing, rollout, and maintenance.
- Assessing new technologies to meet new requirements or to enhance performance and stability.
- Collaborating with product management, implementation services, quality assurance, and support teams.
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers within the team to facilitate their professional growth.
You are a seasoned software engineer with a robust background in full-stack development and a commitment to enhancing platform efficiency and productivity. You excel in leading teams and managing technical projects. Your adaptability, quick learning ability, and proficiency in an agile environment are key assets. Essential qualifications include:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Development.
- Proven ability to lead and train junior engineers to improve their development and implementation tasks.
- Strong capability to engage in discussions with stakeholders such as PM, QA, and implementation services on technical and strategic development matters.
- Expertise in managing cross-team tasks and serving as the primary contact for cross-team technical issues.
- Fluency in modern Java Spring and/or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java.
- Experience in (micro-)service implementation for scalable environments.
- Familiarity with design and architectural concepts for scalable web applications.
- Proficiency in writing clean code, applying design patterns, and conducting unit testing.
- Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and UI design languages.
- Experience in developing responsive web-based user interfaces.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and development toolchains such as Git/GitHub.
- Experience working in an agile environment, such as Scrum or similar methodologies.
