Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced WMS IT Functional Consultant to join our team as a Manhattan WMS SME, next line of support. As a key member of our logistics and inventory management team, you will be responsible for implementing and deploying setups and configurations of new sites and customers, creating solutions based on business requirements, and documenting changes and processes in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation and Deployment: Implement and deploy setups and configurations of new sites and customers, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Solution Development: Create solutions based on business requirements, documenting all changes and processes in the warehouse.
  • EDI Platform Management: Supervise EDI platform management, including interfaces and mapping to WMS standards.
  • Application Configuration: Analyze process dependencies, define, and build related application configuration.
  • Change Management: Identify and specify required changes on application, documenting all changes and processes in the warehouse.
  • Support and Maintenance: Participate in second-level support IT L2, cooperate with 1st and 2nd line support, and deliver 3rd line support, realizing and supervising SNOW Incidents, and analyzing requests and errors.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience with WM/WMS/Manhattan systems, strong technical knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and applications, business analysis skills, software development methodology and techniques knowledge, and support of medium-sized organizations.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite, warehouse operation knowledge, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, German language knowledge will be a plus.
