This internship focuses on the Overall Vehicle Efficiency team, which is dedicated to forecasting, analyzing, and achieving targets related to vehicle efficiency and range. The role involves close collaboration with project, component, system, and application managers to enhance the performance of vans within the development sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will encounter several challenges, including:
- Assessing the quality and informative value of data sets with an emphasis on overall vehicle efficiency.
- Providing methodological support to enhance the significance of efficiency metrics derived from data sets.
- Defining and developing efficiency metrics based on driving and usage patterns gathered from customer data.
- Identifying future data sets necessary for ongoing analysis.
- Analyzing results and preparing reports for expert committees, along with developing effective visualization techniques (e.g., dashboards).
- Offering methodological and operational support in the realm of overall vehicle energy efficiency.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
- A degree in data science, technical cybernetics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Understanding of the relationship between energy consumption and vehicle performance.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and the ability to evaluate large data sets.
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent written and spoken skills in both German and English.
- A collaborative spirit, along with the ability to work independently.
