We are a mid-sized tax consultancy in the Offenburg region, seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to handle financial accounting, payroll accounting, and income tax returns. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

• Independent handling of financial accounting, including financial statement preparation and analysis
• Optional payroll accounting, including employee compensation and benefits administration
• Optional income tax returns, including individual and corporate tax preparation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Education as a tax clerk or tax specialist, with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
• Preferably with experience in a tax consultancy, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial accounting and tax services
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
• Proficient in MS Office, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems
• A strong interest in learning new programs and technologies, with a willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
