Position Overview: The Account Manager plays a crucial role in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities to meet revenue goals. The ideal candidate for the Outside Sales / Account Manager position is a driven sales professional, capable of working independently while demonstrating agility and accountability. This role will concentrate on sales prospects among system integrators and distributors within the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Planning: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and profit margin targets.

Account Management: Oversee sales account planning, forecasting, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.

Customer Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of customer-related issues and provide actionable solutions.

Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends in the server market to uncover new business opportunities.

Sales Engagement: Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry exhibitions as necessary.

Reporting: Deliver weekly sales performance reports.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Language Proficiency: Proficient in both German and English, with the ability to read, write, and converse effectively.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the hardware sector, particularly within the Server/Computer industry, with a solid understanding of the Server/Storage/Data-center market.

Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Multitasking Ability: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong work ethic and high energy.

Sales Strategy Development: Skilled in listening to customer needs, formulating sales strategies, and delivering compelling product and service pitches.

Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership capabilities, goal-oriented mindset, and self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Industry Experience: Previous experience in sales or business roles involving server/computer hardware distributors or clients is highly advantageous.

Independence: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel across Europe and internationally as needed.
