Exciting Opportunity for a Payroll Expert
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Manager to join our growing team in Hamburg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our payroll processes by standardizing, optimizing, and digitizing them to create sustainable, efficient, and modern structures.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the consolidation, standardization, and continuous improvement of all payroll processes within the zahneins group. Collaborate closely with service providers, our Head of HR, and HR Business Partners across regions.
- Independently manage relationships with external payroll service providers and tax consultants. Oversee projects related to payroll accounting, including the implementation and utilization of a group-wide system (SD Worx) for preparatory payroll accounting.
- Translate our company and personnel strategy into clear requirements for processes and systems. Drive the transformation of analog processes into digital workflows, enhancing quality and efficiency.
- Serve as a key point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, including tax consultants and employees across our practices.
Your Profile:
- Possess a degree or training in business administration with a focus on payroll accounting and related HR topics.
- Bring extensive experience in payroll accounting and a proven track record of managing and overseeing payroll processes. Ideally, you have experience with various projects in the payroll area, such as in-sourcing or outsourcing payroll, consolidating external service providers, and implementing payroll accounting software.
- Demonstrate a strategic mindset, thinking in overarching structures and making decisions based on clear cost-benefit analyses.
- Have hands-on experience with diverse payroll processes. Enjoy project and process management while effectively communicating with various stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive action plans, drive continuous improvements, and confidently expand and shape the payroll area within zahneins.
