We invite you to contribute to our ongoing success story as a valued member of our team.We are currently seeking two passionate and driven individuals for the role of Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer (d/f/m) located in Schwalbach i.T.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in communication with internal research and development teams, mobile network operators, and third-party developers to remain informed about risk levels and defect resolution progress. Additionally, create and enhance existing test cases to boost product test coverage and assess project exit criteria through test metrics.
- Lead automation testing efforts by establishing and managing automation test support; design, develop, and review automation test scripts (Python) based on UI objects and low-level Android system functions.
- Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment (Gitlab/Bamboo) with Samsung headquarters and other European locations to enhance automation testing rates and ensure compatibility with OS upgrades.
- Oversee the testing process for Bixby 2.0 (digital assistant), including the setup of test processes, review of UX documents/test cases, defect classification, and coordination with R&D on test progress and team performance evaluations.
- Manage self-certification for customized software for network operators, verifying GSM/WCDMA/5G/5G-SA requirements and UE functions in IMS architecture protocol verification, including Vo5G, VoWiFi, and RCSe. Coordinate with Samsung offices across Europe to validate local operator network requirements and compile results for final reporting.
- Spearhead 5G hardware performance testing, establishing a comprehensive 5G testing process that includes test environments, preconditions, reference comparisons, and PASS/FAIL criteria for both static and mobility performance verification.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A technical university degree with 3-5 years of experience in the mobile technology sector.
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
- High adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong comprehension of mobile technology business dynamics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, including prioritization, critical thinking, and hypothesis formulation.
- Proficient in both German and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
