About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog IC Designer to join our team at Fraunhofer-Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen IIS. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative analog circuits for wide-bandgap semiconductors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog circuits for wide-bandgap semiconductors, including GaN and AlGaN/GaN
  • Develop circuits for sensor signal processing and partition them between GaN and CMOS using modern heterointegration methods
  • Simulate and layout circuits using commercial and experimental manufacturing processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and contribute to the advancement of analog circuit design
  • Support colleagues in the characterization of circuits and transfer to applications
Requirements
  • University degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable field of study
  • Profound knowledge of analog circuit design - discrete or integrated
  • Experience in working with simulation and layout tools
  • High degree of independence and personal responsibility
  • Good command of written and spoken English and German
