Product Owner for Order Management

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to lead the Order Management stream within our e-commerce platform. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and the UX/UI department to drive business goals and transform ideas into actionable roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the future of our Order Management stream by developing a KPI-driven roadmap with clear focus.
  • Oversee the entire order processing, shopping cart, and checkout experience, as well as business processes and API connections to ERP and other systems.
  • Develop and maintain a domain roadmap, balancing business requirements, fast value delivery, and technological excellence.
  • Align your domain roadmap with other projects and streams in the Webshop area, ensuring seamless collaboration and dependencies.
  • Integrate modern product development alongside product discovery and design thinking processes to create value for customers and the company.
  • Clarify and prioritize requirements, ensuring engineers have clear goals, precise understanding of topics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor KPIs, business, and technical metrics to ensure the success of your product domain.
  • Drive growth scenarios for your domain responsibility and corresponding KPIs.
Requirements
  • Strong communication, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Good knowledge and experience working with software development teams, preferably on web applications.
  • Experience with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience in coordinating complex product development cycles.
  • Willingness to acquire additional system/technical/process knowledge as needed.
  • Fluent communication in English; ability to communicate in German is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a product owner role, preferably with business focus and coming from a value- and customer-driven environment.
  • Experience in e-commerce, voucher/gift business, or retail order and fulfillment processes is a significant advantage.
