Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the complete logistics division of SwissCommerce in Germany, which encompasses:
    • Management of warehousing, inventory oversight, and transportation coordination
    • Formulating and executing strategies aimed at enhancing the supply chain and refining logistics workflows
    • Guaranteeing the effective transit of products from arrival to shipment
    • Leading and nurturing the logistics workforce
    • Supervising and managing inventory and warehouse management systems
    • Evaluating data and performance indicators to pinpoint deficiencies and devise ongoing improvement strategies
    • Working in close collaboration with other divisions to ensure seamless logistics operations
    • Ensuring adherence to all pertinent legal requirements and quality benchmarks
    • Delivering efficient logistics services to external clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed degree or equivalent qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Multiple years of professional and leadership experience
  • In-depth expertise in warehouse management, inventory oversight, and transportation coordination
  • Familiarity with various warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Analytical mindset and adept problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Resilient and capable of thriving under pressure
