Internship in Lightweight Construction at Mercedes-Benz

**About the Role**
The Mercedes-Benz plant in Hamburg is a leading manufacturer of axles, steering columns, and vehicle structural components. As a lightweight construction intern, you will be part of a team that develops and produces innovative technologies such as hybrid composite technology, thermoplastic-based fiber composite technology, hydroforming, injection molding, and e-mobility technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute test sequences and create test orders
- Support the implementation of screw-in and strength tests
- Perform mechanical post-processing of prototypes
- Measure and visually inspect prototypes, particularly screw bosses
- Compare screwing curves with specification parameters
- Presentation and discussion of test results with experts
- Participate in regular communication on testing and development status
- Gain insight into injection molding and hydroforming systems
**Requirements**
- Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, plastics engineering, or a comparable field
- Confident written and spoken German and English skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Commitment to teamwork and analytical mindset
- Manual dexterity
**Additional Information**
