Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and refine machine-generated translations in your target language, adhering to established guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with fellow linguists to integrate new AI technologies into localization processes.
Essential:
- A genuine interest in machine translation and large language models.
- Adaptability: Willingness to engage with all workflows from the new product framework, test innovative tools, and provide constructive feedback.
- Dependability: Strong attention to detail and adherence to guidelines to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Linguistic Proficiency: Native speaker of Lithuanian, Latvian, or Estonian.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with CAT tools: Knowledge of computer-assisted translation tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience with MT: Previous exposure to machine translation post-editing workflows is beneficial, though a willingness to learn is paramount.
- Proficiency in German is a plus.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief assessment to evaluate their linguistic capabilities. This test will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour and can be conducted using either the memoQ CAT tool or a Word document, based on your preference. In your application, please include a brief paragraph explaining your suitability for this role and your understanding of the responsibilities of an AI linguist.
