The Digital Business Innovation team within ZEISS is a multidisciplinary group focused on developing digital solutions and business models while spearheading strategic digital initiatives. We employ customer-focused methodologies such as Design Thinking and Voice of the Customer, merging these approaches with our business and strategic expertise.

As a Consultant , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital transformation journey at ZEISS.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to strategic digital transformation initiatives across ZEISS that are crucial for the success of our digital ecosystems.
  • Lead specific components of cross-functional projects in an agile, iterative, and results-driven manner.
  • Identify and implement strategies for ZEISS to provide scalable digital solutions that enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with various ZEISS business units, along with our Design, Data Analytics, and Cloud Engineering teams at ZEISS Group.
  • Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout the ZEISS organization.

About You

  • A strong academic background, ideally in natural sciences, engineering, informatics, or business.
  • Initial professional experience (1-3 years preferred) in management consulting, IT consulting, or digital transformation projects within a B2B context.
  • A solid understanding of the digital economy and tools, combined with a passion for ZEISS' products and markets.
  • A high motivation to create impact.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.
