Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at TALENTLOTSEN GmbH. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project responsibility in the presales phase, including customer requirement analysis and solution presentation
  • Conduct workshops and present solutions to national and international clients
  • Design and plan complex network solutions and services in WAN, remote access, VoIP, and security
  • Implement and document network infrastructures and solutions
  • Lead projects in problem analysis and escalation management
  • Provide 3rd-level support to assist colleagues in troubleshooting customer networks to ensure smooth operation, management, and administration within SLAs
  • Stay up-to-date with new network technologies, evaluate, and implement them in customer solutions
  • Participate in the rolling on-call system after successful onboarding

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field with several years of professional experience
  • Several years of experience in the carrier environment
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and organizational structures
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Cisco product portfolio and corresponding certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP)
  • Deep knowledge in areas of routing, switching, troubleshooting, VPN, MPLS, network security, Ethernet, and network services
  • Fluent German and excellent English skills; ability to guide customers and partners in both languages
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical problems and solutions
  • Initiative and interest in independently acquiring new market and technology knowledge
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Belief in the importance of modern CRM tools like Salesforce for business success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German at least at B2 level
  • Willingness and ability to travel worldwide
