About SIS Swiss International School Berlin

The SIS Swiss International School is a private day school that offers a unique bilingual education from kindergarten to college. Our programme is centered on consistent bilingual classroom instruction and peer experience in the national language and English, culminating in a national or international university entrance qualification.

We are part of the Kalaidos Swiss Education Group, a company of the Klett Group Germany, which operates 17 schools in Switzerland, Germany, and Brazil, serving over 5,000 students from local and internationally mobile families.

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Primary and Secondary School Cover Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis for 18 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover teaching in both primary and secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Availability to join our cover teacher pool in both primary and secondary schools

Requirements

  • A fully qualified teacher with a pedagogical qualification (PGCE/QTS/2nd Staatsexamen or equivalent) and practical teaching experience
  • Native-level English language skills and a basic knowledge of German
  • Willingness to develop professionally and support children's development as a whole personality
  • Enthusiasm, inspiration, and creativity in the classroom
