Enterprise Database Specialist

Job Summary:
VOQUZ IT Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our complex database clusters in the enterprise and data center environment of the public administration sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage complex database clusters, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases, as well as architecture and design tasks.
- Perform backup and recovery procedures, including automation of technical processes and solutions.
- Ensure smooth operation of databases through monitoring and maintenance activities, including patching and updates.
- Provide support for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support, including troubleshooting and on-call duties.
Requirements:
- Completed education in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in database architecture, design, and administration.
- Proficient knowledge of one or more of the following databases: MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including monitoring and data security.
- Proficient in Linux and Windows, as well as specific servers, services, and tools used in database administration.
