Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional student to work on a master thesis project in the field of Computer Vision and Deep Learning, focusing on monocular depth estimation for autonomous drones. The project will involve developing cutting-edge methods for monocular depth estimation, which will be applied in the environment perception of autonomous drones.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement novel methods for monocular depth estimation
  • Apply deep learning techniques to improve the accuracy and robustness of depth estimation
  • Integrate the developed methods into the environment perception system of autonomous drones
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and comparisons of the proposed methods
Requirements
  • Student of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong background in Deep Learning and Computer Vision
  • Excellent academic performance
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Experience with frameworks like PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
  • Own work in the field of Computer Vision
  • Deep understanding of neural networks and transformer architectures
