Master Thesis in Monocular Depth Estimation for Autonomous Drones using Deep Learning

We are seeking an exceptional student to work on a master thesis project in the field of Computer Vision and Deep Learning, focusing on monocular depth estimation for autonomous drones. The project will involve developing cutting-edge methods for monocular depth estimation, which will be applied in the environment perception of autonomous drones.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement novel methods for monocular depth estimation
- Apply deep learning techniques to improve the accuracy and robustness of depth estimation
- Integrate the developed methods into the environment perception system of autonomous drones
- Conduct thorough evaluations and comparisons of the proposed methods
- Student of Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a related field
- Strong background in Deep Learning and Computer Vision
- Excellent academic performance
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Experience with frameworks like PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
- Own work in the field of Computer Vision
