Key Responsibilities

As the Clinical Business Sector Manager for microscopy applications, including pathology, hematology, cytology, and related fields, you will be responsible for driving commercial success in these market segments within ZEISS Microscopy.

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand the landscape, identifying opportunities and challenges within the specified segments.
  • Engage with strategic clients, thought leaders, and sales teams to anticipate future trends and support R&D initiatives that enhance innovation and customer value.
  • Define market and customer needs while recognizing potential for new solutions, considering both technological and commercial viability.
  • Develop a global growth strategy for the relevant markets and oversee the execution of the marketing roadmap.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for sales and distribution partners regarding the global Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.
  • Design and produce marketing materials and campaigns to support the growth strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Sector to plan budgets and forecast business development, sales, investments, and marketing initiatives for the clinical and medical microscopy sectors.
Qualifications
  • A strong academic background in natural sciences or biomedical fields; a PhD or MD is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, product marketing, or business development within biomedical microscopy or medical systems.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex negotiations and working in diverse cultural settings.
  • An innovative mindset coupled with a proactive approach and exceptional communication skills.
