Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly talented Software Engineering working student (Frontend or Fullstack) to join our growing tech team. As part of a cross-functional team in the B2C domain, you will implement frontend or fullstack solutions for our customers, improving our Heartbeat App and the underlying backend services.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Discover, evaluate, implement, and deploy software solutions for our core customer-facing products
- Maintain business-critical applications and ensure seamless user experience
- Implement and test A/B experiments to improve website performance and lead conversion rates
- Take end-to-end ownership of features and drive innovation within the team
- Improve customer satisfaction by reducing tech debt, improving quality, and building software people love to use
- Web Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vercel
- Backend (if Fullstack): TypeScript, NestJS
- Mobile (if Fullstack): Flutter
- Google Cloud Platform: Cloud Run, PubSub, CloudSQL, Firestore, BigQuery

- Enrolled at a university and contributing 20 hours per week
- Studying Computer Science or a comparable course of studies
- Experience writing reliable production frontend services with React, TypeScript, and Vercel
- Passionate about writing maintainable, documented, reusable, and testable code
- Excited about improving user experience and driving customer conversion
- Finger on the pulse of software engineering trends and eager to learn industry best practices
- Agile and result-oriented mindset, with a strong team player attitude
- Very good written and spoken English skills; German is a plus
