Position Overview:

Cymotive is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our Security Risk and Architecture Domain. In this pivotal role, you will assess the security risks associated with future vehicle technologies and their individual components. Staying informed about the latest attack vectors and vulnerabilities pertinent to the automotive sector is essential. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive threat catalogues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative tools, and providing support throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk evaluations for specific modules and comprehensive end-to-end systems, starting from the conceptual phase, encompassing the entire vehicle ecosystem, including ECUs, functionalities, connectivity, backend systems, and mobile interfaces.
  • Establish and maintain detailed threat catalogues, focusing on both technological aspects (such as cryptography and software integrity) and domain-specific areas (including autonomous driving and infotainment).
  • Design and implement technical security controls and requirements based on risk assessments.
  • Develop and execute security concepts aligned with the identified risks.
  • Oversee the integration of security concepts within the overall architectural framework.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive-specific cybersecurity regulations and governance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CISA, CompTia Security+).
  • A minimum of three years of experience in IT system risk analysis or related cybersecurity roles across at least two domains.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following areas: network communications, cryptography, identity management, application security, code analysis/penetration testing, or cloud security.
  • Ability to independently lead projects and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of experts.
  • Strong analytical skills with a capacity for first-principle thinking and the development of complex theoretical models.
  • Fluency in both German and English (reading, writing, speaking).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry or IoT.
  • Expertise in solution design.
