About the Job

  • As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing complex production systems and automation systems, as well as metrological applications.
  • You will supervise the installation and acceptance of new production lines and ensure that all systems are functioning correctly.
  • You will also be responsible for supervising service, calibration, and maintenance work on production systems and defining scopes of work.
  • In addition, you will support the maintenance department in the event of complex faults and regularly carry out weak point analyses to optimize the maintenance concept.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed vocational training in electrical engineering and have further training as a state-certified technician/master craftsman in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, or PLC programming.
  • You have initial professional experience in the field of system programming, automation technology, PLC programming, or commissioning.
  • You have sound knowledge of Siemens S7, STEP7, WinCC, TIA Portal, or similar, and are confident in your handling of MS Office.
  • Desirable skills include SAP knowledge and very good written and spoken German.
