**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Garlock. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our finance team and driving financial excellence across our German locations.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality financial results.
  • Oversee financial accounting and controlling, ensuring compliance with SOX, US-GAAP, and local legal requirements.
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret key financial figures, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Optimize existing process and system workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth and improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit regulations and SOX audits.

**Requirements**

  • Master's degree in business administration with a focus on accounting and controlling.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing teams and employees, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, and BI tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
