Petroplan Europe Limited is currently seeking a Construction Supervisor to oversee activities on a significant LNG project. This role is crucial for ensuring that construction operations are conducted efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Area Construction Manager, ensuring adherence to safety and sustainability protocols.
- Collaborate closely with the Area Construction Manager for effective planning and preparation of discipline-specific tasks.
- Coordinate with fellow Discipline Supervisors to maintain project alignment.
- Oversee contractor operations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Assist the Project Control team with progress tracking and reporting.
- Implement the Site Quality Manual to uphold project standards.
- Gather data to assess construction progress and efficiency.
- Review contractor submissions for certifications and progress updates.
- Proactively manage contractor coordination to mitigate potential claims.
- Evaluate and monitor claims and variation orders from EPC contractors.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations for EPC contractors and subcontractors.
- Facilitate the collection of information necessary for as-built documentation.
- Manage the daily progress of the Discipline punch list.
- Ensure timely completion of Discipline systems in accordance with project schedules.
- Notify relevant personnel when systems are ready for inspection.
- Collaborate with the construction team to address any obstacles to project completion.
