Job Overview

As a Senior Sales Manager - OEM at Silex Technology Europe, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships, securing new design wins, and achieving revenue quotas within your assigned accounts and territory. You will exhibit a deep understanding of complex sales processes and be able to demonstrate sales success.

You will have a successful technical solution selling track record and quickly and comfortably develop director-level relationships. You will be responsible for establishing, generating, and developing specific sales objectives within strategic opportunities in your territory.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Qualify opportunities quickly and effectively.
  • Review new leads and strategically prospect into target accounts within the territory to build a pipeline.
  • Capture and update opportunity information in Salesforce.
  • Understand the customer decision-making process and communicate requirements clearly to the organization.
  • Be knowledgeable and proficient in presenting Silex products and technologies to your customers and partners.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Build relationships, manage, and coordinate sales activities with our distribution and reps partners.
  • Negotiate the best deal possible for Silex.
  • Generate revenue growth for new and existing customers.
  • Bear responsibility for customers through all stages of the Sales Process.
  • Understand customer forecasts and secure orders against stated lead times.
  • Identify and execute long-term strategy plans for strategic customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Computer Science, Electrical or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5 years of sales experience in a semiconductor, electronics, or technology company.
  • Proven ability to learn technical products.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong oral and written communication in English and German. French is a plus.
  • Travel Required 25-50%.
Location/Travel

You will report to our office in Willich, Germany. While physical presence in the office is not mandatory, your proximity to a major European airport is necessary if you work remotely. Most of your travel will be within Europe, with occasional international trips. Travel required up to 25-50% of the time.
