Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Dresden, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with our cutting-edge tools in customers' fabs, ensuring seamless operation and maintenance. You will receive comprehensive training in Vienna, Austria, before deploying to Dresden.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of our high-tech machines in customers' factories
  • Document and report on machine performance and issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system problems
  • Manage spare parts and maintain the ERP system
  • Log maintenance and measurement activities
  • Develop a deep understanding of multi-beam mask writers
  • Work independently and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide on-call support for troubleshooting
Requirements
  • Completed technical education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in precision mechanics is advantageous
  • Careful, precise, and structured work approach
  • Strong communication and social skills, exceptional service orientation, and intercultural competence
  • High willingness to travel (approximately 40-50%)
  • Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of vacuum systems, electronics, and mechanics is an advantage
  • Programming skills (PLC, Python) and experience with Linux systems are a plus
