We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of "Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) - Propulsion" to work on exciting projects with our esteemed clients.
Your responsibilities:
- Review and refine test requests in collaboration with the design team
- Develop comprehensive test concepts
- Design detailed test and measurement setups
- Coordinate with technicians, suppliers, and support teams
- Plan test execution, including procedures and risk assessments
- Conduct hands-on testing
- Process data and report results
- Create and review engineering documentation for test setups and outcomes
- Provide feedback to the design team for product enhancements
- Assist in resource and workload planning with interfacing teams
- Promote a safe working environment in the laboratory
- Continuously learn about our test articles and methodologies, sharing knowledge with the team
Your qualifications:
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in propulsion testing
- Familiarity with measurement methods and instrumentation
- Experience in data analysis and post-processing
- Knowledge of aerospace testing processes and best practices is advantageous
- Experience with multi-kW electrical machine testing is a plus
- Proficiency in CAD systems (Siemens NX preferred) is beneficial
- Proactive individual with a critical mindset
- Able to work with incomplete requirements and anticipate client needs
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus
