About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solution Architect to lead the development and optimization of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing requirements, creating technical concepts, and designing IT architectures that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of projects in the MES area, focusing on the development and optimization of the IT solution
  • Analyzing requirements and creating technical concepts for the implementation of MES solutions
  • Designing and further developing the IT architecture, taking into account best practices and current technologies
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and partners to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Conducting training courses and workshops for employees in manufacturing execution and IT

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management and architecture in the manufacturing execution environment, ideally in industry
  • Sound knowledge in the development and implementation of MES solutions and in the design of IT architectures
  • Experience in working with various stakeholders at different hierarchical levels
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a structured way of working
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as assertiveness
  • High degree of personal responsibility, reactivity, ability to work in a team, and risk awareness
  • Fluency in German and English
