Lead Solar Project Development in Germany

JD Ross Energy is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development of solar energy projects in Germany. As Head of Solar Project Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from site identification to execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for solar project development in Germany, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of new solar project sites, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and market opportunities.
  • Oversee feasibility studies, including technical, financial, and environmental assessments, to ensure project viability.
  • Manage the permitting process for solar projects, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
  • Grow and manage a team of project developers and land acquisition specialists.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy project development, with a focus on solar energy.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing solar projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of the German solar market and regulatory environment.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
